Waiting Room Recording is a recording studio in Tampere, Finland. Ran by me, Mikael Neves with 15 years of audio experience! Based largely on indiemusic and all kinds of undergroundish stuff, but a good song is always a good song. The studio hosts a professional space and equipment to record a full live band as a high quality multitrack recording. Over the years I’ve also gathered a large collection of different kinds of instruments and other music equipment, which are all free to use at the studio space! Every usual band-instrument will have a few different sound options but if there is an integral part of your instrument that affects your playing and feel, you should always have it with you when recording!

My philosophy with recording is that the feel and the song always comes first, and that anything that sounds good is allowed! I like to record most stuff live to begin with vs. recording single instruments to a click and snapping to a grid. But what ever works and gives the best result is always the way to go! If you feel like you would want to record by yourself or in another studio and then have me mix it, shoot me a msg beforehand and lets save everyone some headaches and make a great record!

Pricing:

Recording 250€ incl. VAT 24% per day of recording (max. 10h)

Mixing 250€ incl. VAT 24% per mixing day

The duration of mixing depends entirely on the material, the vision and all of that. Shoot me a message and you’ll always get an estimate!

Lock-outs are also possible and are priced based on your project and needs. I dont master music but can and will suggest a mastering engineer suitable for your style!
